The fastest way to be happy is to feel grateful for what you have.
By shutting your eyes, picturing something you’re thankful to have in your life and thinking about that one thing. Then another thing. Then another. Nothing is ever so bad that you can’t find three things to be grateful for.
The fastest way to be unhappy is to compare yourself to someone else.
Comparison straight away puts us in a state of lack. Of separation, of judgment, all of which make us unhappy because we feel unworthy and unconfident.
You can combine these two things.
The next time you compare yourself to someone else, try and feel grateful for them instead.
Instead of feeling sad that you don’t have what they have, feel grateful that they are in your life because now you know what’s possible for yours.
Turn all those opportunities for comparison into opportunities for gratitude.
The fastest way to be happy and the fastest way to be unhappy
Turn all those opportunities for comparison into opportunities for gratitude.
